Networking For A Cause

Community Networking

Robin started the seeds of Networking for a Cause long before ARC was even a thought.

Known as @socialrobin on social media, Robin has always tried to use her influence for doing social good (before it was a trend).

The original version was called a Tweet-Up. Robin would ask a local venue to host a networking event for people interested in connecting offline from Twitter (now X). At these Tweet-Ups, Robin always added a fundraising component or an element of social good.

Once ARC was born and COVID-19 lock-downs were over, we decided to continue this great way of connecting in our community while doing some social good, and Networking for a Cause was born.

These events are always well received by the community. They bring paying customers to the venue at date and time that is usually pretty quiet for the venue, bring awareness to a charity or non-profit organization; and they give the community an opportunity to come out for a social event and give back. It’s a win-win-win for everyone involved.

Let's do some #socialgood together while networking!
